01 · What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device so it can recognize that device again later. They are used to make websites work properly, to remember settings, and to gather aggregate information about how a site is used.
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (local storage, web beacons) used on clyvonna.com. It complements our Privacy Policy.
02 · Categories we use
We group the cookies we set into two simple categories. We do not set marketing or advertising cookies — there are none on this site.
- Essential — strictly necessary for the site to function. Cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement. Helps us understand which pages people actually read.
03 · Essential cookies
These keep the basics working. They store no personal data and they expire at the end of the session unless noted.
- cly_session — keeps page state during your visit. Session cookie, deleted when you close the tab.
- cly_consent — remembers your cookie preferences so we don't ask again on every page. First-party, 12-month expiry.
04 · Analytics cookies
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that aggregates page views without building a profile of you. It runs first-party, never sets a long-lived identifier, and never sends data to ad networks.
- cly_anon — a daily-rotating identifier used only to count unique visits per day. Resets every 24 hours.
If you opt out, we serve the site without setting this cookie. We do not change anything else about your visit.
05 · Third-party services
A short list of third parties this site loads from. None of them are run by ad networks or data brokers.
- Google Fonts — loads our typefaces. Logs the requesting IP per Google's published terms but is not used for advertising.
- Vimeo — only if a project case study embeds a film. Vimeo may set its own cookies, governed by its own policy.
06 · Managing cookies
You can refuse, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect anything you see.
07 · Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC header or an equivalent "Do Not Track" preference, we suppress analytics cookies on your session.
08 · Changes to this policy
When we add or remove a cookie, we update this list. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes are announced to active clients by email.
